When TATA Indicom promised 512kbps, I thought I will get atleast 450kbps, but I am getting only 110kbps. It is blatant cheating. Please avoid TATA Indicom broadband at all costs. You can get the same speed using any GPRS/EDGE connection through your mobile. It is not broadband by any stretch of imagination. I am waiting for Airtel broadband to come to Pondicherry so that I can dump my Indicom connection. Does anybody know how to rectify my problem with TATA Indicom?
There is no broadband in India. Countries like Singapore have 3-4 Gbps which is called broadband. In India broadband is just an eyewash thats to a Government which wants to protect PSUs like BSNL and MTNL though they offer shoddy service. Technologies like 3G and WiMax are blocked because of our stupid Congress government’s policies though companies are vying to bring out these new technologies. Hope this backward government is thrown out and more competition comes in.
