Tata Indicom duped me as well. Applied for a broadband connection 2 weeks back and it has yet to be functional. The technical man has come thrice to my place and has apparently put some old non-functional switch. He has yet to replace it with a new one. Dont be fooled by Tata’s scheme of Rs 0 Installation. They don’t install anything that works!
Have made several complaints with their Customer service but its useless! They’ve employed some chaps who record complaints and don’t do anything about them.To make matters worse, even though its a new connection and hasn’t yet started working, they are billing me from a day which is 2 days before I signed up for the connection!
The worst service ever! Used Airtel when I was in Chennai and was very happy. MTNL users in Mumbai also seem to be happy. Do yourself a favour - don’t take TATA Indicom!
