Tata Indicom Broadband - The Worst !

I am living in IT city Bangalore and here I booked a new Tata Indicom broadband connection for home, but you won’t believe how horrible is my experience with tata indicom. Its almost 25 days when I booked connection but still not get any call/service/cable/connection.


Here is the flow.




  1. 8 May - I called the to customer care and enquire about broadband service and area of service. Customer care person told to me - ’’we have services in ThyagrajaNagar and we will provide you connection within 8 to 10 days’’




  2. 9 May - I called to customer care I booked the Broad band connection. Customer care person told to me ’’Before tomorrow, our sales person will visit you and collect application form’’.




  3. 11 May - I again called the customer care and asked about sales person, as he was not reached yet at my place. Customer care person told to me ’’Definitely he will call today and mostly visit before tomorrow”




  4. 12 May - 11th and 12th May passed, but I didn’t receive any call or sales person at my place. Again I called to customer care and this time they told to me ’’Sir, Feasibility test is going on, as soon as it will finish we will call u definitely.’’




  5. 14 May – No call received; again I called the customer care, but got the same word, no hope.




  6. 15 May – Great Day!! One person came at my place and filled the application, I given him Rs 551 (Initial charges) also. The sales guy assured me to install connection “as soon as possible”.




  7. 19 May - Now real trouble started, all promised date went away and I called to customer care continuously since 19 May, but they are saying “Your connection is on higher priority, current status is cabling, our concern department will call you and we will finish it as soon as possible.”




  8. 21 May – It’s almost 13 days, I called again customer care and this time status was also same “Cabling”. I quarreled lot with customer care parson and tried to talk with any higher authority, but they didn’t connect me to any other person. I launched a complain for this (Complain no: 1771276), this time again customer care person told to me that “our concern department will call you within 24 hours and your connection will complete before 2 days.




  9. 22 May – Again all given dates passed and I called customer care, this time again long talk and I fight with them but no results. Also I tried to talk with some higher authority but they didn’t connect, but they given me new installation date 26th May.




  10. 26 May – Whole day passed, all dates went away, and I called again, but no results. Long talk and fighting, they again lunched new complain (No: 1781912). Rest of words was same “Sir your connection on higher priority, our concern department will call you and we will definitely install it ‘</>as soon as possible’ ”.




  11. 28, 29, 31 May – I continually called to customer care almost daily, but no effect, no progress, still the status was “Cabling”. And received same words.




  12. 1 June – Again called to customer care and I told him to cancel my connection, I want my money back, please refund. And worst thing they were not ready to do it or taking any step. Still they told me same words “Sir we will definitely do it…as soon as possible.. Blah blah …..”.




  13. 2 June – Ya its today, 25 th days, I called again, there is no status change, still I got status word “Cabling”. I quarreled lot to refund my money; I don’t want connection any more… But they are not ready to do it. I tried to talk higher authority but they didn’t listen.






I talked with many persons of customer care few of them are Anil, Anandi, Kavita, Sandeep, Rasath, Sunil, and RamGopal. But worst thing was that none of them want to talk again and avoid calls. I fixed the date and time with all of them but when I called, all of them was not on the floor, when I called again then I got massage – “He/She is on leave today” … ! Today (2nd June) I also enquire about Mr. RamGopal but he is on leave today also.


How it is possible all 6-7 persons are ON LEAVE since last 7-8 days?


Now I don’t want connection from Tata Indicom, but there is no way to refund my money, and customer care persons are not ready to talk on this subject. This was the worst service ever seen in my life.


If any one know any way .... please show me !!
