Tata Indicom

I think that Tata Indicom is a totally crap service. Some user misused my number and personal details and Tata Indicom could not tell me who the number belonged to. I do not trust anyone else and therefore, did not approach anyone else.


This service is the worst, as it costs a lot and the bills are very high. At one point of time, the bills went up so high (about Rs. 4500/- for only a few calls we had made). At times, the network went down completely, disabling urgent communications.


The service is really bad, as they either cut off the phone at the Customer Service or they make us hold on for a really long time.


The service has changed completely. Earlier, they gave personalized service and attended to the emails. These days, it’s all gone.


They have even completely removed the customer service email address from their website when they realized that they had been bombarded with several complaints from the consumers. They do not help any customer. They are only after money and are daylight robbers. When we realized that the phone bills were too high, we decided to cancel the service. Tata-Indicom immediately told us that they would not repeat such high billing. The same problem of high billing or over-billing occurred once more and we finally gave them a notice that we may have to take them to court. Finally, they canceled our service after long requests telephonically.


They never do anything to please the customers and moreover, the anonymity service never helps anyone. MTNL is much better. They at least give directory service. Too bad Tata Indicom has to keep numbers and details a secret.


I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND any Tata Indicom service to anyone.
