Hard to belive but its true.... tata indicom provides me the cheapest outgoing std calls(as low as 90 paisa per min)..... and I can make out going calls free through out india where tata is operating...
i ll explain how it works....
go for a plan 499(this is not mention in the catalogue as well as not on the website of the company...)
actually its a corporate plan...
under this plan all the calls made to any phone in india is charged re 1 each...
there is one moe plan called 399...
in this plan too u can make calls ! Re1 and its an open plan(any one can apply for it...)
but if u need to call landline u end up payin 1.65 Rs...
the best part is that if u take a tata landline(walky) along with the mobile...
in my case I gets it free as the company provides free landline phones without any security from time to time for promotional ... u only need to keep your eyes open
now coming back to the point(as if I was joking till now)
when u take a landline and a mobile... there is a scheme called juggalbandi... u just need to get it activated..... and u gets a 20% flat discount on bills isnt it superb!!! ha... but this scheme is only for first three months(every three months I change my numbers as I keeps tata for out going calls)

there schemes can easly be fooled...
now the calcullations....
if I have a outgoing calls duration for say some 4000 min my bill will be
Rs 4000(4000*1 )
add 10%tax
which equals to 4400
and 20 % discount on bill
less 880
which equals to 3520
now the net cost of my calls comes to be 88 paisa... isnt it gr8
the more u use the less u pay...
u must be thinking the usefullness of this idea...
well the landline that u got .. its rent is 240 bucks... and u get the callin value of rs 120 in it... and if u think this was enough.. the company also provides free calls from your landline to your mobile!!!...
what else u can dream of......

well friends.. let me tell u that I puts up at delhi(capital of india) and my girlfriend is in chandigarh(punjab)
earlier I was using reliance’s dapo offer.. my std’s were charged for 1.9 rs + taxes... the cost of 4000 min would come to be some 8375.2 rs.... the provides discount of 40 paisa on first 400 mins of usage.. which is some 160 bucks... so the net bill would hit me every month with some 8215 written on it...
now I have taken a chip of tata (annual rental plan 999).. and got the incomming free while roamin activated on that number...
i sent that chip to her and gave her 1500 bucks for the handset.. to my surprise she managed to bargen for the set and got it for 1100 bucks flat!! (she got tataindicom gem).. and here in delhi I got myself a tata indiccom with two year incomming free with t2t(tata2tata) free...
now we talk endless almost 600hrs out of 720 hrs per month... anf the bill that gets is only 150 +10.2% tax... for her and for me nothin...!!!

earlier I use to pay almost some 2.2 rs for making an bussiness outgoin call and ended up paying reliance heavly..
now my bussiness call’s volume have increase and my bill’s have shrunk.....
and my personal calls are almost free.....
the net saving I did in three months ....
well I must tell u... hai na!! it will be good for u...
my average usage is of some 5000 mins...
for this same talktime I sue to pay ril (5000*1.9)-(160) + 10.2% tax
which comes to be 10292.68
and for three months it would be 10292.68*3=30878.04
- the hassles for less credit limits...(my cell got disconnected millions of times due to over usage)
now for the same 5000 min my bill comes to be
5000*1+10.2% tax- 20%discount
which comes to be 4408
and for three months its 4408*3=13224
so I saved some 17654
its some 74%
my advise for u is ... do not trust any salesman..... any one for that matter.. calculate ur usage and look the appropiate plan... make a rough bill and see which one is cheaper...
