As a owner of a Tata Walky Connection, residing at Mumbai’s Central Suburbs, I wish to enlighten the public about the Company’s workings.(1) In case of post paid Walky Connections the billing system is like this... You are using a Walky....Suddenly you get a sms PAY Rs........... before..... ( their due date).Bill ? Dont ask for Bill.We said so. You pay or we disconnect. They have set your credit limit ( even though they have your refundable, security deposit of Rs.1, 000/- and all verified documents).They sent me at different intervals sms for amounts outstandings, without bothering to send me the bills.I did not pay.They disconnected. I challenged.They even started sending goons to my house for collection of outstandings.I stood against them. They even sent a dubious notice from SOME D K LEGAL ASSOCIATES, supposedly signed by some Lawyer A A Khan, whose qualifications are not mentioned in the letterhead, nor on the Board where his Office ( in Dharavi area )is located. I stood and fought. Finally because of need I paid the money and got the service re started. Till now the Company or their alleged D K LEGAL ASSOCIATES have failed to convince me about the credentials of the D K LEGAL ASSOCIATES and their relationship.It is time the public got togather and took TATA INDICOM to task.
