I bought a handset from TATA INDICOM dealer(hand set in marked with "Tata Indicom") from CHANDREPUR(MH). At the time of purchase they told that they would provide service for handset. But when My handset became nonfunctional within 8 month I approached them. I have been told it would be repaird by TATA INDICOM office, (THE OFFICE IS NEAR DENA BANK IN CHANDRAPUR). When I contacted this office the person in the office told me that they were concerned about only recharge, handset repairing facility was not provided by them. I have been told to throw this handset and buy a new handset because the handset company has closed their service sentre from Chandrapur. He was not willing to even guide me for the repair.
If I would not have believed TATA INDICOM for handset I would have bought a handset of good brand. SO my suggestion is Do not buy handset with UIM from TATA INDICOM.
