I am Tata Indicom Fixed Line Wireless Phone Service customer (Ph: 56089968; Cust ID: 600055019). I have been regular in due payments with all my service providers. We were away from home for few days in April and missed receiving bill which was sent by TTML thru courier service. Owing to busy schedule we didnt realise due date and as courier company had left no trace of their attempt, nothing drew out attention to this fact. On 11th of May, outgoing on the said phone was disconnected. This was done without warning or contact (All my contact nos are in their records including my mobile number). On calling their call centre and after learning what had transpired, I quickly paid the said amount of 559 Rs. thru my Citibank Account using Online Internet based Bill payment facility. Reference number of this transaction was quoted (300797566) to call centre and my line got activated after few hours from that. All was well as this stage. Few days later on 17th May, outgoing facility was disbled again, again without giving any warning or making attempts to contact me. On calling up call centre, I was informed that same has been done because I had given false information of paying bill online and quoted false reference number. Such strong statement was used to inform me about reason why line was disabled. I checked up with Citibank and I was informed that payment was done in form of draft to Tata Indicom and acknowledgement of 14th May was in their records. I took print out of online transaction from by account and faxed it to attention of TTML on 55917777 thrice since than. After repeated follow up I was told that it takes 7 days for their system to reflect any payments made online and hence I should be patient for same to happen so that my line can be activated again. On asking why TTML didnt wait for 7 days before disconnecting the service, I was told that, that function is done by diffrent department. Today even after paying dues, I have been denied service. Please beware of this service provider who lacks basic infrastructure and inclination to provide quality service and support in case if something goes wrong
