TATA INDICOM PHOTON ...NIGHTMARE

I got a new Tata Indicom connection after clearly telling the dealer that I will use it in Mumbai and Pune. The dealer said the device will be delivered to my address and took the full payment of 4 thousand in cash and giving me no receipt but just a copy of my application form.


The dealer gave me a plan under which I had first 2 months of usage absolutely free. After receiving the device I faced the following plethora of problems:


1) After reaching Pune I was told that in Pune I wont get the 3.1 MBPS speed thats mentioned in the deal because Pune is not yet covered in that network of tata wich provides 3.1 MBPS. So I am now paying for 3.1 MBPS speed but getting only 155 or some 256kbps speed.


2) The dealer never informed me that for first two months when I have free usage, there is a 10GB per month downlad limit. Only after my downloads exceed the stipulated limit, my lines were disconnected by TATA. When I informed them of not being told by the dealer that I have a download limit, they presented a document to me stating that I had signed this document which mentions the download limit. Only when I brought to their notice the signature I had on the application form and the signature on that document, they realized that it was clearly a fake signature. TATA INDICOM DEALER FORGED MY SIGNATURE TO COMPLETE HIS TARGET.


3) Only one person in the entire organization helped me getting my connection resumed but in 2 months of my free usage period, due to lack of adequate communication and documentation systems in TATA PHOTON CUSTOMER Service, I have faced disconnection of services 3 times.


15 days out of 60 days my line was disconnected but I am still paying for it. The customer service is pathetic and most importantly dont have systems through which they can get the details of the activities on the account.


The helpfull manager got my account reconnected on account of the error on TATA’s part but the customer service people still called me twice threateining me to disconnect my account if I dont make a payment. The same payment which the manager got waved off. In my first two months of my stint with TATA, I have come across such a miserable service. Just wondering whats ahead.
