The Tata Indicom person came to my house on Saturday, took Rs.4000.00 from me. In return he promised that he would deliver the connection on Sunday. I was requested to stay home the whole day.
On Sunday morning, a representative came and did the verification of the documents, promising that the person with the connection would come by 3 pm. At 6 pm I call the person whom I made the payment. He assures me that the delivery would happen by 8 pm and since it was a month end day, they had their sales targets to meet and hence they would definitely deliver. At 830, I call up the person and he is lost. He first says that he would deliver on Tuesday since Monday is Holi. I am furious. They made me sit at home on a Sunday and I wasted a holiday. Now they say they will deliver on Tuesday.
I request him to speak to the concerned authorities and ensure delivery on the same day as I didnt want to waste the day. He promises to revert. But he doesnt. He is not even taking calls now.
What a sham !!!
What a joke !!
I didn’t expect this from a Tata Company.
