Photon Plus - NO CUSTOMER CARE

I got this device with unlimited plan as I was about to travel for my work. They received the relevant documents and Photos etc., and the full amount for the first month along with the device cost. As I was in travel, I could not receive their call once and due to the same reason they de-activated my account.


When I called them for service, they mentioned they had to do address re-verification. They asked me to give a time to visit a place and I did and was waiting for their representative. NO ONE turned up. Again I called customer care and they said 4 hrs. Again no call back and no one turned up. One day gone. Now next day when I called them this person said the earlier day was a NON working day.


I requested them to re-activate and was waiting in the house again and this time again no one turned up. After 2 days, one person calls me saying he is standing in front of my apartment and I was in office. But I took my official time off and went to complete this process. They re-activated after 2 days after 3-4 follow ups.


Now let me list down the pros and cons on this equipment:


Pros:




  1. Decent connectivity and speed




  2. Easy installation and instantaneous connectivity






Cons:




  1. In reality no one in customer care. No one will hear you and ask you for the same information and absolutely dont expect and call backs from them.




  2. They dont let you know the process in detail . After the address re-verification is done, they also do a welcome call. If you miss the call, they would de-activate your account.




  3. If you have any technical issues, you are done. NO one can help you from their team.






In brief, you could use this device as long as there is no technical problem and you need to talk to someone from the customer care. They may say they understand your issue, but they will take a minimum of 5 days for any issue - So keep up your frustration if you need to contact them for any help.
