23 May 2015 - Finally disconnected the Tata photon+ connection after 2 years of struggle.

Tata Photon Plus. purchased couple of months ago. Till date, I am struggling to get the speed issue fixed. Tata Photon claims up to 3.1 Mbps, but when you purchase and call technical support, they say 256 Kbps is minimum and close the tickets.
From the past few weeks, the speed is not even 256 Kbps. I have sent screenshots to Tata Photon customer care and received the following response.

Please be informed that your complaint regarding slow speed with service request number 410113713 was resolved stating that the area where the device is using is best optimized and this is the maximum coverage in the area, currently no new cell site is planned in the area.
We would like to inform you that the area you have referred to is a high utilization area.
They dont even take their confirmation and close the ticket. I am repeatedly requesting new tickets and they are closing without fixing anything.
I am using Airtel broadband(2nd connection at my place) to share my feedback. Unable to even open web pages properly using Photon. Done a speedtest and its showing 0.1 Mbps(100 Kbps speed) which is even lower than what they claim as minimum 256 Kbps. Still the customer care is closing tickets saying this will be the speed in your area as number of users are high.
Tata: Please spend some money in upgrading your network instead of spending on advertisements and fooling people(upto 3.1 Mbps is what Tata Photon claims in ads).
All: Think before purchasing Tata Photon. Speed is not even 1/10 of what company claims. Really poor product and support.
