I have taken the plug to surf connection from tata before one year back. I purchased for around 3500+ security deposit 500. I have produced all the document to the sales person. he given me the device and told me it will take till evening to activate the connection. When I checked in evening it is not been activated. Till night I tried and called that sales person. After calling in several times he picked the call once and told me it will get activated next day morning. Next day also same, it is useless, later when I called he told he will speak with the people in office and will say me. After 2 days he told me I need pay more 500 as I am staying in a pg. This people didt say such things when I bought it. I have given that also. But still they didt activated. When I tried to call that sales person he is not picking the call itself. Later I thought of going to the customer care and complaint my self. I went there and made complaint and they asked me again for ECS form. I have given that also. Finally after a big struggle they have activated my connection after some 25 days. I used the connection for 2 days and they sent me a bill for month. When enquired them they told me I have to pay bill for 1 month or else they will disconnect my connection. I mailed to all the person including the nodal officers but no reponse. Later I paid that bill and continued the connection. after sometime I thought of disconnecting it and went to customer care enquired the procedure to disconnect. they given me a mail where I need to send a mail from the registered mail. I have sent mail and got confirmation also. But later I got bill for the next after my disconnection. This continued for 2 months and they started calling me and asking for bill money after my disconnection also. This is my worst experience with an corporate. They are the number in cheating people. My suggestion to everyone is taking tataindicom is like you pay and get headache.
