Tata indicom services is extremely poor and frustrating. My walky phone is not working since more than 6 months. and they just dont care to resolve the issue. after several follow-up, significant wastage of time I have finally closed the connection.
The service engineer doesnt turn up at all but they are very regular in sending their recovery agent at our door step - for bills without any service by them.
my last resource is to go to the consumer court with a copy of this complaint that I have registered several times:

My Tata Indicom Walky connection is not functional since April 10. I have lodged complaints many a times over net using my Tata indicom account, over phone. I also visited personally to Tata Indicom customer center at FC Road, Pune. They informed me that phone software couldnt be upgraded, so needed a replacement. However after waiting for more than 6 months, the connection is still not restored. On the contrary, I get several calls for bill payments. Recovery agents are sent to my place, but not service engineer ever cared to make a visit.
I also paid the bills for 3 months because customer service representative promised to restore connection after payment that is due. But still phone is not replaced. This has been extremely frustrating experience for me. And with regret, I have decided to cancel my connection.
