I cant find words in english to describe the harrowing experience that TATA Indicom gave me..This experience was in March 2006---Not sure if things changed for the better or worse..
I got a success rate of 10-15% everytime I connected to my Internet using this cursed ISP. And worse still is the callous attitude of the call-centre and customer service. There have been times when I was put on hold for 1hour 10 minutes only to hang-up. Customer service, everytime I called for tech help used to tell me the support guy was on his way, but never turned up inspite of calling them repeatedly. Most of the time, they did not even pick up the phone. When the support guy finally turned up after 4-5 days delay, he rarely fixed it, said he needs to come back with some new thing in order to repair. I wonder if this company is working to make profits or ruin themselves. I switched to BSNL and found it much better. I thought I was done with this tata-indicom saga, when the call-center people called me some 4-5 times in the next 6 months asking me if I was willing to renew my connection. I gave them the above story and begged them to kindly spare me the risk of a Blood pressure-rise in talking about this company, the next time they called me.
Down with this damned, lousy ISP!! May this company rot in hell!
