I got cheated with Tata Indicom. Hence writing this review so that you all guys should know about how tata indicom loots people & also if possible help me in getting my money back.
I asked for a Tata indicom Wimax connection. They took my application & cheque on 4th March. Till 15th March no one came & gave me the connection. When I called customer care & blasted on them, they said they have not recieved my application. Coincidentally, I had my cheque number with me. I was about to call Bank customer care & cancel the cheque, I recieved a call from Tata indicom. They apologised & told me that Ill get connection in 4-5 days time after I pay them Rs. 695 more as service charge. I payed them the amount & I got the connection on 26th march at last but net dint get started. The concerned guy said that there is some problem with my network card, which I doubt it was because I newly purchased the system on 1st of March.
Before I took the connection, I confirmed with customer care & they told me that if I pay 4 months advance, they wont charge the installation deposit & security charge & if I cancel my connection Ill get my refund.
I logged a complaint to Tata Indicom & told them that my net is not working on 28th of March. On 2nd April, they resolved the issue & my net was working. Starting few days, I dint have any problem. After that, I started facing problems. I was not able to connect to net. Sometimes it takes, 15 to 20 minutes to connect to net. Whenevr I complaint, they say, our network is down thats why the problem is occuring. In the end, I got fed up & cancelled my connection. They took all their hardwares from my home. Yesterday, i.e. on 12th June 2008, I called them & asked them that when will I get my refund. They informed me that Ill have to write a mail to customerservice@tataindicom.com mentioning that my connection has to be terminated & after that with in 15 working days Ill get the refund as my account was still in temporarily disconnected state. Today, when I called customer care, they informed me that my connection got terminated, & Ill not get any refund. When I asked the reason, they said, its company policy. What rubbish, where was te company policy when they informed me that Ill get the refund.
Can some one please help me with senior executive phone number or valid mail ids so that I can complaint about this?
