AVOID !!! Please Please Please

I am an employee of Tata group of companies and I applied for a connection and paid 983 rs. (which includes 421 rs. for pre-paid surf 500) on 30th September. I haven’t got connection till now. I have been calling their customer service numbers daily and have also sent a mail to their customer service department. Nothing seems to be happening. I got a SMS couple of days back from Customer Service saying that my pre-paid connection would expire on 30th October.


Everytime you call, they give you an arbitary number to track and I have tons of them but nothing helps. I am now waiting helpless, having tried everything possible. I have heard that their speed is not great and the connection gets lost most of the times. Please, Please don’t pay these guys for getting you a conection as they seemd to have outsourced the task to some unfriendly local electricians.


This is what happend to me when I had applied, some local electrician came and laid some cables and left it there. He also took 50 Rs. for doing this and promised to come back after 30 minutes to finish off everything. The person never returned and I have never seen a more unprofessional way of handling things by a company like Tata in my life.


Every now and then someone calls to ask "Did you get the connection?" and before you could speak a word, they disconnect the call.


Does anyone know how to get my money back? / is it possible to get the money back?


PLEASE DON’T GO IN FOR A TATA INDICOM BROADBAND CONNECTION EVEN IF THEY OFFER YOU MONEY.
