I had the misfortune of once having a Tata Indicom phone. Since this was the only phone I had, I was using it for internet access as well. Looking at the title, anybody can guess my experience.
The speed was pathetic to say the least. The LG instrument was equally bad. It used to dial up and connect on its own even after disconnecting and charging me. I had power off the instrument and start again to stop the stupid box from behaving like mad.
I called up the customer(victim) service. The uneducated executive told me to take the instrument to once of their centers and exchange for a new one, without a confirmation that the new box will not behave like its mad predecessor.
Less said the better about their billing. I had my outgoing barred even when the cheque had been cleared 15 days back!
