Today I have got a new TATAINDICOM WiMax connection with plan Unlimited 384Kbps.
Everything went fast till they install the connection.
When I tried browsing the internet, I just get tataindicom website prompting for user name and password.
After I enter the user name and password it started counting the session timing and opened a POPUP window which promotes tataindicom products. This is really ridiculous and TATA doesnt have any rights to display their site or their products when we pay for internet connection.
(This happened to me when tried Reliance 3.1Mbps USB Data card connection aslo.)
TATA follows unethical, cheap way of promotion for their brand.
When I tried to contact their TOLL free support number, it was keep on saying "Please Press 1 if you are a new customer" even after pressed 1 for 111111111 times.
Alternate support number was never attended by anyone.
Really pathetic.
Imagine if anyone experince this on the first day of their account activation after paying 4months in advance.
I am going to file a suite on this soon if they dont sort out this issue.
Any one of you feel the same, please share your experience here, lets join our hands agains these white collar thieves.
I will be posting this complaint again and again as long the issue getting sorted out.
