I have Tata WIMAX connection since Mar 2009 and I am very happy with the speed, support and reliability. You must be guessing why suddenly after 1 yr I thought of writing a review. Well, after heavy rain yesterday night, I was not able to connect to internet. I tried all my IT skills but in vain. I called the Customer support at 8 AM (Please NOTE that I never get to hear that I am in queue before speaking to an agent) and she asked me to perform few basic steps for troubleshooting but still it didn’t work.
Finally she logged a Call and referred to technical group, she said Technical person will contact me within 72 hrs. But to my surprise the engineer turned up at 11 AM, he checked my system and guess what ?? the issue turned up to be with my antenna. He adjusted it again and magic, internet started working with very good speed. I was happy with the prompt service.I also wanted to talk about the Airtel broadband service in my area, I stay in Venkatapura area of kormangala, Bangalore. There are no ports available in my area and for new connections, we get lot of calls regarding availability of new connections, Agents come gets form filled , collects money but still no connection. I had to struggle a lot to get my money back.
Keeping all these in mind I would let the final decision on you all.
