I have been using Tata indiciom broadband for the past 1 and half yrs now. I chose tata not by choice but by compulsion. I had heard of very bad service but I had no other options as neither BSNL nor Airtel had ports available to provide me connection. My life has been miserable dealing with tata indicom since the day one. There has never been a week which I havent called up the customer service complaining of no network. Of late they migrated every wired connection to Wi-max connection. For some days I felt the connection was OK. Though I was not getting the promised bandwidth I was satsfied as I as atlest getting connected.
But, recently I raised a complaint as I was having connection problems, slow speeds and frequent disconnections. I had a pathetic time with them. It took them a month to attend my request and it still doesnt seem to be resolved.
Also last month I had opted for a the Surf Power 1250 plan of theirs for one month which includes a download limit of 1250MB for a validity of one month. Last week one morning I checked my remaining download limit and it showed remaining 450 MB. Then suddenly a couple of hours later I get a mail stating that my balance is now 0 and I need to recharge my account. I was in office at that time and no one was using it. Even if someone was using it couldnt have downloaded 450 MB in 2hrs as I was getting a speed of just 50Kbps which I had already complained them.
When I raised a complaint the customer service guy told me that his sytem is perfect and the mistake on my side. What the hell!!
I have now decided to move on other service providers.
