Just got the TATA WIMAX connection, earlier I was using AIRTEL 499 plan which I was very happy, but due to billing issue I terminated the AIRTEL connection and took TATA WIMAX. I took the Flash 256 plan. There is no problem with connection and speed its really good no doubt in it.
But the funniest part is when I want to connect my office laptop via VPN its not getting connected , when I checked with the customer care they were saying that VPN will work only with Static-IP plan and it will not work with the DHCP enabled plan which really sucks .
I asked them when other vendors are able to provide this stuff why TATA is forcing the customer to go for Static-ip. Then I went for a termination immediately on the next day itself. And really TATA customer care people are not that much enough to handle the technical issues. Other horrible thing is every time we need a login-id and passwd. Bychance if you close the browser that’s it your session will get lost L. Which I hate with WIMAX plan. If you don’t worry about the monthly budget then you can go for TATA powerplans with static-ip
