I am surprised to see the policy these companies are taking to harass people. I had Tata Indicom Wireless 2 months back and surprisingly not received bill 2 days back.
I received a call on my alternate no. that you service has been discontinued because of non-payment of bill. When I told them that I havent received their bill yet they asked my Email ID and finally I received their bill.
Now I tried to make payment using Credit Card so I went on their site. Which required registration, and I tried to registration which showed me this phone no. is already registered. So I immediately called their Customer Care Service using that phone.
To my service I was unable to access menu but only 2 options: Press 1 if you have already made payment Press 2 if you are willing to make payment in 2 days.
When I pressed 1 I had been asked 1 If you have paid via Check 2 if you paid by DD and they just ask about the DD & Check No. respectively. Even I tried using another TATA phone which asked to put phone no. and ended with same recorded message.
I had been given about 5 (paid nos. not toll free) which came out useless.
Now question is:
Does the customer who didnt made payment in time (because of their fault havent received bill yet and got charged Rs. 30/- as Penalty) not allowed to Contact Customer Care.
Who is responsible if the bill is not sent.
I am now going to disconnect their services as soon as possible. Since they not only have poor internet speed but poor customer service + Unnecessary CLIP & other hidden charges (even its free for First Month and its useless for one to use CLIP & other service for Internet Access).
I am really impressed with their Pre-Paid service which I was using for last 2 yrs but I suffered with their Post-Paid Service.
I wont advise any people to go for TATA Indicom Internet Service since even if you access Internet with their Pre-Paid Card will cost you same Rs. 30 Per Hour and even if you are paying Rs. 150 (5 Hrs Monthly) will cost you same.
