This is my first review in mouthshut. I have been owning a Indigo CS Dicor, Salsa Red.I have completed 12000 Kms in 6 months. I was not at all planning to write review of my car.
Reading reviews and blogs after blogs about Indigo CS and its praise I came forward to writeone about me. I am a doctor by profession. We are a family of 4 which includes 2 of my children.
I wanted to buy a diesel car, which would be good in fuel efficiency , low maintenance and also good looking. Logan was my first choice. Since it had space and practicality. But when I took a test drive of it I felt it more lethargic.
I then went for Fiesta Tdci. It was good and peppy , but out of my budget. I then happended to test drive a Indigo CS Dicor.I was first impressed with the very sight of the car. The quirk looks of Indigo was all fixed in CS. The Dicor engine offered a decent pep and inside the cabin it was more silent, just like a gasoline engine.
It was unbelievable to my eyes. CS accelerated smartly to 100, 120, 140, 150, 160..170 Kmph. Importantly accelerating over 130 Kmph was no more a stress. it accelerated like a fire upto 160 Kmph with the final 10 Kmph taking some time. The odo was showing 4200 Rpm.I could only see a smiling grin in my face in the car’s mirror. After all this the fuel efficiency was impeccable 21.7 Kmpl..
