I am a proud owner of Tata Indigo CS GLS. I bought this car 6 months ago after doing careful study of cars available in this price range. I had a variety of options ranging from Wagon R, i-10, Swift to Swift Dzire but I went for Indigo CS.
The reason is that it is a true value for money family car.Indigo CS is worlds smallest sedan measuring 3.98m but has loads of space inside. Its boot capacity is reduced as compared to Tata Indigo to fit in inside 4 metres range. So this car basically comes under small car category so we get tax benefit of a small car. This car is very competively price at 3.78 lakhs(Ex-Showroom).
It comes with 1.2 litres Petrol engine producing 65bhp which is more than enough. The ride quality is very good and cabin is very silent. The mileage of the car is very good too.You will get 14km/l on highways and 10-11km/l in citys(both with A.C ON) and the mileage will increase by 1-2 km if you switch off the A.C. The service of Tata has improved leaps and bounds , they call you every now and then, reminding you that your next service is due. The only problem according to me is the blind spot which is developed while performing a right turn.Tata should really look into this problem.
So if you will ask me it is an ideal family car and you should go for it.
