The Middle class Royal Sedan

Now its time for updating the review. Ma TATA INDIGO CS - LX TDI had ran 10000 Km. My hopes on no claim bonus evaporated when I need to change my front suspension fully. It dint crash anywhere beside service men told it could also happen if the car jerked in to big gutters.

Is TATA’s suspension so delicate? I came to know that the same had happed to many of the Indica Taxi’s. So Rs. 30K claimed on insurance, so dat they will change it with an entirely new suspension. Bonnet cable still works wired, I could never open it alone, somebody has to pull the lever from inside meanwhile I need unlock the clips manually from outside.

Wheel alignment has been a routine and I’m doing that like filling the air. But the roads in Kerala are too bad and the roads had a lot to do with ma wheel alignment, I checked weather its the problem of the suspension but they told the suspension seems to be OK.

The driving has been smooth and it gives me a vry good mileage (20+on highways n 16 @ cities). AC is working well and the car retains the coolness for a prolonged period. There is no noticeable power drop when the AC is on but you need to shift the gears accordingly and never expect to drive this like any petrol car. The car is tuned well and on half clutch itself the car rolls upto 10Km/s.

The car got a self-take and need not worry about clutch balance at all for beginners. Riding comfort is good and I don’t want to lean too much to get in, moreover entry and exit for old and bulky people is of ease. Enough boot space and enough legroom too,

I’’m 185cm/105kg and I got a lot of space compared to other cars of the same range. For me that’s of big importance. Never give too much stress to engine and in this car the gear shift is done between 2K-2.5K so it seems to be razing the car, but it wont do any harm and never shift it too early because you can hear the sound of that bolt hitting. Since its a TDI engine you need to idle it at least 2min, this will do good for your car.

For each car there will be many prons and cons then y not TATA. Remember you got this for 5lakh and for me other than that suspension crisis everything was alright. For me driving this car is more of economy than riding my Bullet.
