I have been using Tata Indigo from last 10 years and I am very unhappy with its performance. In the first 3-4 years, it went really good and the performance was also good. Even the mileage was 20 KMPL on highway which was enough. But as the time passed the car started giving problem and even small things like plastic parts on the windows started coming out which was disturbing to see after 3-4 years of buying the car. The fuel injection pump broke down which gave a lot of trouble when we use to start the car after long stays of 3-5 hrs because the pump didn’t worked properly. After around 5 years the power steering also started giving a lot of trouble and the mechanic said that the whole steering set will be replaced which was costly. We invested a lot money on getting it repaired and then using it. Even the resale value of the car is not much as compared to other cars of same segment like Swift Dzire and Etios. Though I liked the leg room of the car which was really spacious and even the boot space was enough. But still I won’t recommend this car to anyone because at last you will end up investing a lot of money getting it repaired.
