Don't waste your money in buying this car

I purchased TATA Indigo LX Classic III  from Sanya Motors, Defence Colony New Delhi in December, 2007 and in less than 7 months,  the car had to be taken to workshop four times out of which three times it had to be taken by towing the car as each time the engine developed trouble and stopped working all of a sudden.

1.  I had to wait on the roadside for total 10 hours on different occasions waiting for helpline. No arrangement was made by SANYA Motors to help me at any occasion. The car remained in SANYA Motors workshop for repairs etc. for 14 days.  To sum up I would say that I am totally dissatisfied with this car performance and fed up with after Sale Service provided by SANYA Motors, though they boast so much about service before you go for buying a car..  I am really repenting by buying this car.

2.  On being fed up with the repeated breakdowns, I approached Customer Care North Region of TATA Motors & SANYA Motors. What they could do was only feel sorry for the inconvenience caused to me for purchasing this car having inherent manufacturing defects. Whenever the car breaks down on road, nothing could be done by TATA Motors/ SANYA Motors except repairing the car.  I would like to ask TATA Motors  Management that once any manufacturing defect is detected in a vehicle, why can’t they replace it with a new one instead of repairing the defected one again & again so that their esteemed customers may not suffer endlessly?

I hope people will learn from my bitter experience with this car and TATA Motors/ SANYA Motors.
