I have driven two different models of Tata Indigo. My experience with both has been totally unsatisfactory. While the first one was giving problems with the pick up, the engine of second one got ceased after it had just run fifty thousand kilometers. I had got all the services done in time and at authorized dealer. When contacted, the dealer expressed their inability to help since the car had crossed the warranty limit, which clearly reflects that the co. expects the customer to be prepared for anything after it has crossed fifty thousand kilometers limit. Thus, on reliablity front, it can be rated as most unreliable. In both the cases, the experience with two different dealers, based at Chandigarh and Ludhiana, was less than satisfactory since they tend to shift the blame on the customer and have a casual attitude towards customer complaints.
The car can be rated as good on fuel consumption front but when it comes to engine, dealer services and other aspects, I would rate them as the worst.
I strongly disapprove of it and do not recommend it to any buyer.
