I bought Indigo LS TDI BSIII (July 2005 make)on 04.10.2005 after I had gone through a lot of survey of petrol and diesel cars. When finally I decided on buying a diesel car I zeroed down to Tata Indigo and Fiat Petra. Finally the name of TATA’s in manufacturing diesel vehicles prompted me to go for INGIGO-LS. I have run the car for more than 2800km. Recently, on a trip with my family, from Baroda to Daman to Pune and back to Baroda, I got an average of nearly 20km (on the lower side with frequent use of AC). Stability of the car is excellent even at speeds of 100-110 km/hr. I found it to be quite stable even at 120km/hr speed at Mumbai- Pune Expressway.
Its spacious, ride quality is excellent and the engine powerful. Overall very good value for money. Now who would like to shell their hard earned money on petrol cars like Esteem, Accent etc. Congrats TATA!
