I have just completed 1300 kms on my dicor.had taken it for the first service which is recommended at 1000 - 1500 kms or 1 month from the date of purchase.
So far the car has been wonderful. I was a little apprehensive reading the reviews most of the people have given ; on the contrary I’ve found the car to be really good. the pick up is pretty good, the drive is smooth , overtaking on the high ways was not a problem at all. the fuel efficiency I got was also fantastic. on the short ride on the high way ( 360 kms) I got an average of 21kmpl ( speed maintained at 95 - 100 kmph) with the a/c on all the time, and in the city 15.75 for the first tank full to tank full. this was again with the a/c on all the time with bad traffic conditions.
I really feel the car has been severely under rated. for all the good things and importantly for the price , the car is a good performer. the only small draw back how ever is this is a little noisy car. the engine noise is harsh compared to the other one’s in the market. the car handles well, the brakes feel confident, the a/c is excellent, and the internal noise in the car is nil (will have to wait and see).
On old belif among people, the dicor engine is good. unlike its predecessors, this car feels light to drive & is fleet footed. the dual head lights is a boon for high way driving in the nights.
I did have some small issues like the boot not shutting propely, and the front right door having to use a little more force to close, these have promptly been fixed by the dealer in all i’ve had a pleasurable ride so far. I am sure this car is worth is value in times to come.
