This is my first review ever about anything, usually I am not very keen for putting my thoughts as I believe there is always something good & bad about anything. But I don’t think I would be able to hold myself back from sharing my experience with my car Indigo LS.
I bought it 3 years ago, was my first car & current car too, with great excitment I went forward & replaced new tyres with tubeless & got new alloys + new system for car of around 18K & couple of other items too. I was damn excited about my car, actually I opted for Diesel as I am a keen traveller & Indigo LS would have suited me (which turned out to be a very wrong assumption).
I took this car for driving for couple of long drives & within first 4-6 months I had started feeling the pinch:
There was some area in car from where external air was entering & at speed 60+ I was able to hear sound of air running in. This TATA is not able to repair till date, at end I just give up at mentioning this point again & again at the time of service or repair. Got used to it.
Too much of underbody sound. Car always used to start create rattelling sound after 1K of servicing. Very annoying.
Steering is not very comfortable, at high speed will start shaking or say you will feel road vibration in your hands.
Customer Service/After Sales Service from any of their centres is the worst you can imagine, believe me. Tata is least bothered about this. Lately I have realised you need to know someone in their service centre or should start paying extra money to some service incharge to get normal servicing. Really Pathetic. They have changed my mentality, you just feel helpless, would do anything to get a normal decent service, as I feel tired or irritated when I face issue after each service.
Very high maintenance cost. Parts have been changed as if its so normal, I have got Clutch Plates change, Shockers changed, Bearings multiple time, some big Iron Knuckles from front wheel & lots of other things too. And always from authorized Tata place.
Right now, I can listen sound from every part. Back seat lock always make sound, front Dashboard has that squeaking plastic sound, steering has its own sound, windows they just love making sound, underbody sound is unstoppable & when you as TATA Guys they say "Sir Diesel to time ke saath awaaz kartee hi hai". But I think sound that I am here are normal Diesel engine sound + TATA proprietry amplification.
Believe me this list is non-ending. Please take my advice don’t ever think about this car or I personally believe don’t buy any tata product, & if you do so, start meditation & believe me you will end up as a individual full of patience (that’s one good thing that they have given me).
Seriously, don’t waste your hard earned money, not worth it at all. Its cheap compared to others thats where we all get fooled by tata.
