Never try the new versions of tata vehicles ......

One should never try the new version/vehicle of TATA brand .Personal experience says it all. When Indica was first launched it had some faults(could not remember) , the vehicles visited by TATA engineers and parts were replaced free of cost.Same goes with Safari .

In 2008 this car struck my eyes for its simplicity and good looks. On further analysis I found this car a true luxurious car with the feel of a royal personality.Neverthless I did not know what holds in the future.

The car was great , great leg room, great driving experience , good looks .Everyone was in awe of this car.It was TATA INDIGO DICOR XL.

Now my ordeal with this car. Two months old and its gear was blocked .Engineers ( dont know which degree they hold) failed to find the fault and asked to send the vehicle to dealership. The car was sent with the help of crane(charges 7000 for 300 km- up and down). After 20 days it was delivered.I thought it will be ok now.Again after two months there was a sound in the engine ( which could not be detected by any engineers). Two of the tyres( tubeless) got air problem.Ultimately I had to write to the TATA Motors HO Mumbai about the sorry state of the car. There was no reply.

At last I had to surrender the vehicle to the financer as I was irated and frustrated with the car.I apologise to Tata Motor Finance for not being a profitable customer for them but I had no other option.

Main problem here is TATA takes no pain in educating its dealers the Technical-Know-How of the newly launched vehicles. They must pro-actively participate in this as well they will lose their business share. Also they should be more cautious with the engine parts , gear parts and clutch .
