Tata Indigo Dlx trouble again

We have a Tata Indigo DLX which has covered around 23000 Kms approx. The car is good in drive while the tatas have got a really good IDI diesel engine. The Turbo charger gives the much desired juice to the engine as well. The ride is good in the car though the handling could be better. The car runs on the standard Bridestone Tyres 175/75 R14 with tubes.

We had a peculiar problem with the car that got sorted only at around 12000 kms. The car would not start after a journey of more than a hour. The self would crank and the engine would not fire. We have had many embarrassing family moments especially on long trips that too on a Brand new car. The local dealer M/s Concorde Motors could hardly solve the problem with their incompetent mechanics. Each time they spotted a different problem and we were in a dilemma to sell the new car. While on one such long trip to Salem, the car refused to start while at a tea break after almost 3 hrs of non stop driving. We had to put the family on the road to push start the car. We were frustrated as this happened just after the car came from service and this problem had been attended to and solved. We headed straight to the dealer at Salem M/s The True Sai works. They witnessed the problem and requested us to be seated for 2 hours while they adjusted the settings. Apparently the problem happened to be an incorrect setting of the air fuel mixture setting in the diesel fuel pump. I wonder how prominent dealerships are ignorant of such basic facts and put customers to a lot of hard times. The starter solenoid was also suspected and replaced at the next opportunity at Chennai.

The car recently gave the same trouble mentioned above at 24250 Kms. We had done a trip of around 160 Kms and the car was parked in hot sun for around 30 mins. The car refused to start again and we had to resort to push starting the car. A visit to the dealer and a bleeding of the fuel pump seems to have sorted the issue. I wonder how this has recurred after nearly 12000 kms
