This article is to give an awareness to the pride owners of Tata Indigo how worst and horrible is the service from St Antonys Motors Kottayam. I have never come across such a bad experience since 2004 when I purchased my Indigo.
On 18th noon 1pm my Indigo LX was given to the service center at Kottayam, for 1) Fixing the Security Alarm and Parking Sensors 2)Rattling sound shock absorber 3)Speedo meter cable replacing and 4)Wiper blade change. I had already told them since I was in a hurry plz get it done by 20th atleast and the service advisor agreed it. But on 20th aftrnoon I got a cal saying that work is only half way and surely it will take one more day to finish. somehow I said ok, as I had no other go.
When I reached the service center to take my Car by 4pm on 21st, most of the works were not done and when I asked why these things are not done, what service manager told me is " just now only we noticed speedo meter cable has to been replaced". Even then I could not see my Car as they wer doing something inside the wrkshop. One thing I noticed is none them know the work propery, Coz one of the guys was checking the oil level just aftr startng the vehicle. So funny right? , , Finally by 6 30 I received the car, telling al the works are finishd.
When I opend the door, the Security alarm Kit which was given to them to fix, was still there on the seat and it was not Fixed. And what they told me is they dint have the expertise to carry out this. Serously I got tensed and shouted on them to the extend. Bcoz that was the primary job asked them to finish not only that, they never informed me about not fixing the Kit. They charged me a bill of Rs5500, telling they replaced some parts in the suspension
And i had to drive some 50km to reach home, on the way again the rattling sound fomr the suspension was coming.
Also the dash board was full of greece oil and it was fully dirty (please note this is the condition after water service and cleaning the interiors). Just for doing over all check up with suspensions and few minor things like wiper and speedometer, these irrespnsible guys took 4 days. Those guys were irresponsible to the core and good for nothing, I am telling from the Heart. Coz none of them knows the work properly. All trainees are doin the works.
These guys wasted my 4 days leave which I was supoosed to go lot of place.
There are lot of other goood workshops which we used to go for past 4 years. By mistake I went to St Antonys. I am sure I wont repeat the mistake.
