I bought a Tata Indigo XL Classic 30th May 2008 despite conflicting reviews and a general feeling that this was not the best buy to start with I went ahead with it, and below is what has happened with me:
had purchased a Tata indigo xl classic on the 30th May 2008.
2. On 18th June my car simply stopped running due to a faulty remote immobiliser.
3. On 19th I deposited my car to wasan Motors Kandivali workshop who assured me that the car shall be repaired by evening.
4. In the afternoon when I called for status, they told me that the wiring assembly for the remote has to be changed and they have ordered from Tata Motors and the same shall be done by evening.
5. On 19th evening they told me that the same is expected on 21st and they shall deliver the vehicle by 22nd.
6. On 22nd they told me that they have received the parts and shall deliver the car on monday 23rd.
7. On monday 23rd they told me that the received parts are faulty and they have ordered a new set expected on 24th and they shall deliver the car on 24th.
8. on 24th they said the car shall be delivered on the 25th. I wonder when this ordeal will end and how long are they going to keep me hanging, there is absolutely no response from the Tata Motors customer care or when you fill the form on the website.
So, TATA CARS are not reliable at all, think twice before buying them, they will make big claims of after sales service, and product reliability before selling, once sold they will behave as if they are TATA and you are a MORON because you bought their car.
