Value for monwy

Let me start with my experience with Marina. I bought this car as I wanted to own an estate model and the only car that could match my budget was this ( Baleno Altura too expensive, Opel corsa Swing... not of my taste and Ford Fusion was not in market then).

I had the feel of the car when I was driving from Bangalore to Mangalore. I made a big mistake of getting sandwitched between an approaching BMTC bus and Truck running alonside me and almost had a head on collusion. I had no option other than to ramp with the truck next to me.

By god’s grace no one was hurt. When I took stock of the damage to the car, I was rather shocked to notice that the only damage was to the side of the left rear door which was torn for about 20 inchs where as the TATA truck that I ramped into had its solid Iron metal bumper ripped off. Wow this was when I really thanked marina for saving 5 lives.

As for the performance and handling, It handles well on high speeds, I had the pleasure of driving over 140 KMPH on Bangalore Chennai highway. The gear shifts is a bit painful at times and TATA would have done bit more on having AC ducts for the rear passengers. Its a nightmare for rear passengers in hot Chennai temp. The boot is highly spacious.

Millage is about 10kmph in City limits and does 14.5Kmph on highways with A/C on.

All in all a true family car.
