I differ to what other people says about Tata Memorial hospital . It is a hospital with utmost poor management and treat patients inhumanly. Doctors in OPD are mostly in meetings and you have to wait for 5-6 hours for a 5 minutes consultancy . Day care chemo units work on appointments with 28 beds and 100 appointment and people are seen rushing after waiting in que early morning. I have seen patients in pathetic conditions waiting for their turn and no place to sit. Chairs are such that patient will slip and OPD stinks. I found it equally costly than any other small hospital in private file category.
In general category you may get a feel of animal herd and rush.
Doctors here are no great guys, think themselves to be God, speaks to patients and families as if they are doing mercy on them .
Net net, it’s a poor managed hospital and people should find local solutions rather than rushing to Tata.
I would suggest, take protocol from Tata and get treatment at any low cost hospital near your home. Else be prepared to get humiliated by Security, peons, Nurses and OPD Doctos
