Hi , I am Gautam working in Ernst & Young, Technopark. I am here to say about the very poor service of Tata Kulathunkal motors, NH Toll jn, Trivandrum, Kerala. It started from the day 1, the day I bought the car (Indica Vista Terra, TDI). When I went for booking the car, the representative there said that the car has two wing mirrors, defoggers, rear windshield vipers etc...
I said ok and booked the vehicle. When I went to collect my car, there was some delay. I didnt get a chance to see my car before delivery. When I got my car, there was no left wing mirror, no defogger, no rear viper. When I asked them about this they told there is no such accessories for this model. I asked then even one hour before taking delivery, they assured me that all the said accessories are there. After delivery they said it was wrongly said with a sorry which I couldnt accept. It was like they were purposefully cheating for a sale.
At the time of delivery the inside of car was not at all clean. There were oil marks and some black marks all over. As it was night (7.00 pm) we couldnt check the vehicle thoroughly and I never expected such a poor service from such a big firm, Tata Motors.
The first after sale service was not satisfactory. Engine room was not clean. They made me ask again to clean the inside of car, because they didnt care to clean.
On 9th Nov 2009, I booked my car for third service and some body shop work for the next day (10th Nov 2009, 12.30pm). I reached there by 12.20pm. But there were no one to attend or recieve my car. The front office took the service coupon only, made me wait until 03.00pm. I was to report at my office at 02.00pm.
It was not the first time they made me wait. As if its their practice to make the customer wait for 2 -3 hrs. As I was fed up with the continuous humiliation, I took my car without servicing.
Thought your motto is service.
