I had an indica DLS which was 5 years old and had run just above a lakh. Though car has been run by me alone and was maintained well, I never had any major issue with he car. Unfortunately I gave the car for service at VST Chennai and the whole gear system was made a mess. They never said any problem with the car also. While taking it back I stopped for a tea and I found the hand brake was made loose.The follow up calls for making it right was waste efforts. I then went and put a web complaint to Tata and asked whether there is any good service provider in Chennai.
VST called me and said that I never called them up. Then they said they will take the vehicle and get it corrected. They took the car and said that the whole clutch is worn off and it has nothing to do with their earlier service . They would charge me for that and would be around 25000/- whereas I had already shelved around 8000/- last time. I asked to give back the car as I have lost confidence. Then I got a call from Tata and confirmed to me saying that it s a clutch issue. I asked them to send the most reliable service people in Chennai. Probably there is none in Chennai and hence no one approached me.
Finally I had to sold that car which was dear to me
