Bought a Tata nano xt on Dhanteras and very next day I was on the long trip to Kinnaur in Himachal pradesh I am from shimla . It was a trip on which I along with my wife and one of my cousin brother and my wife’s father were all together seated comfortably in a nano .
Roads were good only till bhavanagar a place around 200 km from shimla . Post that we went to sangla there was literraly no road only gravels mud stones car . Amazing ground clearence no ground scrapping even in the worst of conditions . Yes I wished it had more power as on steep incline muddy road it struggled . Overall suspension is awesome .
Power steering makes your life easier . Andthe best part is the mileage I drove Tata nano for 600 plus kms on the worst that too hilly roads and I was surprised to see the mileage of 17.6 km per litre . Truly a small wonder from Tata . I really liked all the people looking at this small wonder with excitment and with astonishment . The car looks small from outside but once you open the door u will realize how spacious it is we were 5 people easily seated .
Have driven a k 10 it had more power but since I am 5 11 and medium built getting in the car was difficult but with Tata nano it was easy . Overall happy with the buy . I have given 5 star though I wish it had more power for hill driving but at 2.4 lakh I got a fully loaded car I am quite satisfied as it has lived up to my expectation as it had passed the test of ultimate offroading .
