We have got a Tata Nano delivered by Sanya Automobiles, New Delhi on 04th Nov 09. In Last 20 days the battery created a problem and drained 4 times. First time on 07th Nov 09....
I called Tata breakdown service and got the vehicle jump Started. Second time it failed to start on 14th Nov 09.I again called up Breakdown service and jumpstarted my vehicle and rushed to the dealer at Sanya Automobiles, Mayapuri, New Delhi for checking of any fault....the services offered by them are pathetic, no body have any idea about the problem and they were even not able to tell the approx time in rectifying the problem. After 24 hours of checking, they had delivered my vehicle back to me, claiming that every thing is perfect and now this will not create any problem.
But to my utter surprise....the vehicle again failed to start on 18th Nov 09, I got my vehicle back from the dealer on 21st Nov 2009 after the battery replacement.....but the battery of the vehicle again drained yesterday night(24th Nov 2009).
I am fed up with this vehicle. This is the first car of my life and I have purchased this on cash down payment with my 5 years savings. I have purchased this vehicle for my familys convenience, but this is creating problems and mental stress for us. Whenever there an urgent requirement for the vehicle, it fail to start. Today again they have picked my vehicle and they dont have any clue...when they can rectify the problem.
Dear All I am planning to approach Consumer court and Media. I request all of you, kindly ensure the following before purchasing Nano,
1. Dealer Service
2. Almost No Customer Care service from Tata.
Even after writing a mail to their customer service...there is no response.
Can anybody advise any contact details of their higher Management...so that I can approach them directly.
