So I test drove both cars and my gut feeling is with nano. Nano twist with power steering and a lot of goodies certainly scores more but my dad says he likes alto 800 more.
He was not convinced cuz we have owned an 800 for the last 12 years. The best part is nano dealer offered more exchange benefits for my car than maruti dealer. Alto scores very high when it comes to suspension as you hardly feel any potholes. Nano on the other hand grinds. You feel most of the potholes.
More importantly, people in india still consider car as a status symbol. This is where alto scores, it doesn’t matter for me but my dad.
Fuel efficiency is something I need more help with from other reviewers. As it matters the most for me. Please also provide inputs regarding maintenance costs comparatively. Thank you friends!
