I got my nano LX lunar silver in January 2010. As Im from middle class family, I had a dream to become a car owner, so that I could go anywhere with my family. Now it has become true with my Nano.
- My dealer experience was an average.
2. Me and my family like its looks and style.
Its inside space is more than Maruti 800, it is OK with 5 person.
Its mileage is 20km/litre which is good and its 624 cc engine is sufficient for good pick up and power.
As it is a 2 cylinder engine, so its sound is not like other car.But with AC or with running condition, it is very difficult to feel it. It is a general prediction that the rear seat get heated as the engine is under it, but I dont have such kind of experience, rather its AC is very powerful one, so there is no such kind of problem.
Regarding reliability, I think Tata has made some improvement with quality, but as a low price car , some materials are cheaper but I have no issue with that. It is basically a Value for money Car.
Leg space is good. To make the car more comfortable, I have made a good seat cover .
Its steering and gear shifting are smooth. Head light and horn are also good.
Regarding tyre, I come to know that both front and rear wheel diameter are same but width are different , so the extra wheel can be fitted at both place. As these are tubeless tyre , so there is less problem during puncture.
I think by having rear bonnet and changing battery position , car can be made better.
The overall , I think it is the best car for India and deserve to be the people car.
