Pathetic response of Tata Nano dealer

This regarding Tata Nano, we had booked the tata nano thinking that we will buy indigenously engineered Indian car. But our expectations got shatter to ground, when we reached to take delivery of car at CPL Motors, Pathankot. Dealer was telling that you have to take the Accessories and and music system they are mandatory. But nowhere, it was mentioned that Accessories and music system are mandatory.


We had talked to regional office at Gurgaon regarding this. They also talked to dealer and conveyed us that they are resolving issue, still dealer is insisting that without accessories he’ll not deliver the car to you. We have wasted our full day at dealer’s doorstep. Dealer did not agreed on delivery of vehicle without accessories. It is not the question of 10, 000 rupees it is cheating.


Is this a dictatorship of dealer ? Or Tata Motor is knowingly doing this to meet there targets. I think this not the first case, there could be many more unreported incidents. This is harassment / blackmailing done by Tata motors as customer had paid 80 % of the price at the time of booking (six months back) and now he can’t blackout. Think before buying any Tata car.
