Its been almost a month & 6 days I have been driving my Nano & have already reached 1500 KM & completed my first servicing. few thing which I woulke to share to new buyers
1) Its a wonder car & gives good driving experience. power full & responsive engine when compared to its size.
2) Good manuver in traffic
3) Comfortable for long drives, only you need to fill petrol at regular intervals since Tank capacity is less.
4) Tank capacity is 15 liters but you dont have to fill entire capacity. you need to fill 13 to 13.5 liters & remaining space to be left for petrol fumes.
3) Initially drive the car at recomended speed - strictly follow this. dont drive too slow at top gears, ensure engine dose not get jerks, change gears to maintain smooth drive. dont force fully push the car on top gear at low speed change gears.
4) check digital fule gauge, some face problems over a period, last 1 or 2 bar’s do not show desipite tank is full. while this will get replaced free of cost during servising if you mention the problem.
5) if you stay at costal region ensure you get rust proof painting done, else card body will get rusted very soon. since the thickness of the body is less to maintain low cost, it gets rusted faster.
6) during idle engine noise is low how ever when you drive at 1st & 2nd gear there is some sound because it has single piston. which you need to get used to & dont get irritated with people comments. when you close all the windows you will not hear the sound. if others dont like the sound then let them close their ears:)
7) In city the milage with AC is 16 to 17 & on highway ar consistant speed given more than 21 / 22
8) Its car which you have to drive & experience dont go on comments given by people who have not driven or experienced the car.
9) when you go for a long drive trust me you will not feel tired, I drove contniously for 250 km in a day, & I did not feel like I was tired. even my family sitting at back seat were very comfortable.
10) good leg space which helps you legs not getting strained.
11) dont fit too high watt speakers, max 130 to 140, max watts 2 speakers at back & 110 or 120 watt at front. since the car is small and too much sound is not pleasent.
