Review after a research on Nano

This is first time I am participating discussion in Mouthshut.com. I went through most of the reviews and comments.  I was an enemy of Tata Nano till 17 March 2012, the day I got a chance to travel in Nano. But after my first journey, I was forced to change all my perceptions about the car. I assumed that the engine used in Nano would be of an auto rickshaw (so much I hated nano), and my uncle used to remind me the same. But now I am fully convinced by the car and its performance. It is really rubbish to compare the nano with big cars like Innova, Scorpio etc. and most of us do so. We should compare it with a two wheeler, but the fact is, it replaces even Maruthi Alto.

I made a research on Tata Nano where I could found that it is a small wonder that is going to win the hearts of common man in India(already it is done). This is according to Autocar, which reports that the Nano was subjected to tests at the MIRA testing center in England:

The crash tests included a 40 percent offset and a 56km/h (35 m.p.h.) frontal impact. Nano passed the test.

I asked one of my friends who owns a Nano about the performance. He said he is very happy with Nano. But the only bad impression is with the service people, hesitating to repair or service the car. Recently I could hear a good news from him that the mentality of the service people has been change and they are now happy to service nano.

Now I am planning to buy a nano. Can anyone advise me regarding the payment? Should I pay the full amount on purchase date or shall I go for a loan? I hope I will get an answer soon.

Thank you

Justin James
