I just got my Nano Lx delivered. It has a higher seating than Maruti 800 and most other cars, offers great road view, ease of outmaneuvering in busy traffic, Comfortable seating with amazingly enough leg room and head room, The air conditioner is very powerful and the car has good pickup. Most of the utilities are very thoughtfully provided and are a pleasant surprise. The lack of glove compartment is very pronounced and the difficult access to luggage area needs to be addressed. I wish the battery could be placed outside of the cabin area as it is not very easy to inspect it.
I was disappointed that even the Lx version does not include power stering. All versions are with normal steering. Though the catalogue and some web sites mentioned provision of power steering in case of Lx version of Nano. The horn is also very low. It is often mistaken for a two wheeler horn.I am sure, the next generation of Nano will have these issues addressed.
On the whole it is a very good car and comfortable car. Safe and reliable.
