Tata said ratan tata was dreaming to diliver a car for lower middle class so the price would be just 1lack. But what happend now !!!
I was the 48 person to book tata nano and the first person who went to the bank and paid rs.4000 as booking loan i booked for 140000 lx lunar silver. I was allotted one which i thought i was lucky but when i was asked for the performa invoice the pirice is 40, 000 hiked and the onroad price figures around 2, 15, 000. Shame on tata...what nano has got:
1)trendy
2)new to look because it is a new model.
3) high as santro that’s it.., i can go for maruti 800., why? What 800 has got:
1) 800cc(four stroke, 3 cylinders 2 valve each )(nano is 625cc 2 cylinder)
2) five doors
3) bigger wheels with four nuts on it
4) easy access to the engine
5) same capacity as nano
6) front disk brakes
7) more bhp where i can cruise till 140 kph 8) a/c can be fitted later if i want
9) more refined engine that is well knowen 10) radial tyres 11) no body roll is felt 12)no need to open the bonet for refilling fule 13) has 35 litters of fule tank capcity (nano 15 lts) 14) and the price 2, 18, 000 on road (1, 82, 000 ex-show room) where you may get special offer around 7, 000. So still 800 seems to be the cheapest car in the world .... Stop hypeing the nano it is fooling us. Be a clever indian think, analize, compare tecnical specification and you will see tata nano a ta ta tata bye car. Where is ratan tata’s (my promise is a promise gone!!!!!!!!!)

After great disappointment I canceled Nano and booked Alto priced 2, 13, 000 (ex-show room) 2, 49, 000 (On road)., 100% finance scheme on ex-show room price.
My friends told me I have made right choice and escaped. I don’t agree with people still saying : "price just 1 lack " kindly make some update of nano. And look of Nano is just like An egg with four wheels from side, Punched face from front, An auto rickshaw with Hard top roof from Back. And from long distance it looks like a lawn roller came out on road from the golf ground !!!
