I got a call from Mr. Rituraj of Tata Motors Bangalore on 01st Oct. 2009 and confirmed that I get delivery before 05th Oct. evening. He told me to contact him directly (not to Concorde) and he will find the final resolution. On 05th Oct. morning 8.00 am I called Mr. Rituraj and he told me that the vehicle reached at the dealership.
At 10.30 I reached Concorde Motors, Kochi and met the Sales Manager. She told me the vehicle not reached to them. I told her that I got confirmation from their Bangalore office & after 30 min she confirmed that 2 vehicles are kept at the dealership and rest 8 moved to yard. She told to take Pre Delivery Inspection and Temp. Regin. it take 2 more days and I get it only on 07 Oct.. I ask them for the original documents and they immediately given with a cancellation form. I said I’m not going to cancel it and going to file suit according to IPC 420 (Charges on Cheating) and I moved out with documents. In 2 hour I got again a call from same lady asking to give the ID proof for Temp Regn.
I e-mailed it to her she began process it very fast under pressure from their Bangalore office & she promise me the delivery by evening 6.00 pm apart from her promise to deliver on 07 Oct.. After long fights, finally me won & got the nano LX BSIII Champagne Gold on 05.10.2009 @ 6.47 pm. I got fabric seat cover at Rs. 1, 315/- from Concorde & no mudflaps or floor mats were available. Concorde given 7 ltrs of Petrol coupon too. I gone to my regular accessory shop and fixed JVC KDR 506 & JBL GTO428 Speakers, Crosslink Wheels Keyless Entry, Hella Power Horns, Autografix Body Graphics & 3M UV Protect Sunfilms etc were fixed in another 3 hours for 12.7K. My car is so far good (in 24 hours) & first 221 kms covered in 10.59 ltrs of Petrol with A/c. In this 221 kms it was mixed roads 80% hoghway & 20% city. In highways I reached upto 98 kms per hour speed too. Average mileage is 20.86 kms/ltr. Now the vehicle registered permanently as KL-29-B-797. The A/c is much stronger than any cars in the entry level or midsize segments. While A/c ON, there is not much noise inside. While A/c OFF its a silent car and while idling, we never notice the engine is running except applying accelerator. I drive 100 kms immediately on delivery, and backseat, there is no temperature. Its just like any normal front engine car’s backseat. But if we remove the engine cover we can feel the temperature. The woolen carpet on the top of the engine cover keep the backseat from heating. As engine is on backside, with proper side ventillation, and as radiator kept at extreme back end close to the back bumper, there is no chance to get the heat to front side of engine chambekar_ashishr where the back seat begins. But we can notice the heat on back panel is little bit but it not affecting the back seats or room. There is no sounds inside the cabin and its just like any Maruti 800 or alto or Zen.
The road visibility is excellent and the aerodynamics design also give more stability & grip on road. The suspension is best for Indian roads and its better than Maruti 800 or Alto or even better than Tata’s own Indica. Overall performance is excellent. Feel free to ask me.
